Forgive me Michael, for I have sinned. I ate kibbe at a Moroccan restaurant.

I should’ve seen it coming. I mean, it was called “Galil,” there were Russian waitresses… and I wish I had read the menu a bit closer. In the description of the kibbe “ground beef with pine nuts in CORN MEAL.” Oy, mene mene etc.

To be fair, not everything in NY is bad. Had the 2nd best piece of meat in my life yesterday. Closest thing to a fillet mignon I can eat, cooked by the guy who apparently won top chef, and best part, paid for by someone else. I think you know the best piece…
